They operate various types of cranes to support building, infrastructure, or maintenance activities. Crane operators are responsible for inspecting equipment, interpreting signals, coordinating with ground crews, and following safety procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations. Their work is essential to maintaining productivity and safety in complex, high-risk environments.

35.00 – 39.00 $/h
Required profile
– Completion of secondary school is usually required.
– Completion of a one- to three-year apprenticeship program or industry courses in crane operating are usually required.
– One year experience
Tasks
– Operate a mobile crane to lift, move and position heavy loads (construction materials, industrial equipment, etc.).
– Carry out regular checks on the crane before each use to ensure that it is in good working order (cables, hydraulic system, controls, etc.).
– Comply with all safety standards, both for crane operation and for the safety of other workers on the site.
– Collaborate with site managers, safety officers and other operators to coordinate lifting activities and ensure smooth workflows
– Organize and plan lifts to optimize movements and avoid handling errors
