• No degree, certificate, or diploma required

Experience:

• 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Setting:

• Multiple construction sites (various locations)

Responsibilities

Tasks:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine framing requirements

• Prepare layouts using measuring tools in accordance with building codes

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join lightweight steel, wood, and other materials

• Construct foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roofing systems

• Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware

Additional Information

Own Tools/Equipment Required:

• Steel-toed safety boots
