Job description:
Responsibilities:
– Measure & cut small glass orders – Install glass shower enclosures, railings, partitions, sealed units, mirrors, commercial storefront glazing, and interior commercial glazing. – Some metal fabrication will be required
– Remove broken or damaged glass and prepare surfaces for glass installation
– Repair or replace damaged glass in windows, doors, and other structures
– Ensure proper fit and alignment of glass panels
– Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment to minimize the risk of accidents
-Valid driver’s license and clean abstract required
Experience:
– At least 5 years of previous experience as a residential glazier
– Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the glazing industry
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and on a team
– Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during installation or repair
– Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Wage starts at $36.00 but will be based on experience.
