Concrete Finisher Full Time

Job Description
Gorkhali Construction Inc. located at 7536 140 Street Surrey, British Columbia Canada V3W 5J8 is currently looking for 1 full time Concrete Finisher to join their team asap.

Job Duties:

·         Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete.

·         Pour, level, Smooth and finish concrete in residential and commercial buildings.

·         Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.

·         Install, maintain and restore structures such as foundations, floors, and patios.

·         Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.

·         Read schematics, drawings, and construction plans, and interpret them to determine how to complete concrete jobs.

·         Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete.

Job Requirements:

·         Completion of secondary school is required.

·         3 or more years of experience is required.

Terms of Employment:
Wage: $ 37.00 /Hourly. Overtime starts after 8 hours a day & 40 hours per week.
Position: Fulltime
Language: English
Must be willing to travel to work sites all over lower Mainland BC.
