Description
Supporting management by taking charge of the operations during a shift to make sure that food handling and product preparation follows the company’s standard procedure and meets Subway Operational Requirements.
Responsibilities
Providing leadership, direction, and supervision to staff to ensure:
Food handling and product preparation follows the company’s standard procedure;
Supervise, train, and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, serve customers and complete sales transactions;
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage;
Inspect and ensure cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant and restaurant cleanliness checklist is completed daily;
Ensure high standard of customer service is provided and address customer’s complaints or concerns;
Support staff with customer orders, catering orders;
Maintain food safety, quality control, and standards in food preparation and personal hygiene;
Complete temperature log reports daily;
Support staff with cashier duties, training, and troubleshooting;
Support management with product inventory; staff scheduling, and with management reports; and
Other assigned supervisor tasks required as per Subway’s Operation Procedures / Manual.
Qualifications
One (1) to Two (2) years experience in supervisor position with the following:

Excellent oral communication;
Client focus – Customer Service Skills;
Team player;
Effective interpersonal skills;
Leadership skills;
Ability to supervise 1-5 staff members;
Ability to management heavy boxes – up to 20lbs;
Able to stand for long periods of time;
Knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
