Medical Office Assistant (MOA)

A Family Medicine and Walk-in Clinic with locations in Fort MacLeod, Alberta  is looking to employ a Medical Office Assistant (MOA)to join the practice. The successful candidate will perform day to day front desk and clinical area duties, including scheduling patient appointments, checking in and rooming patients, taking vital signs, faxing and collating patients’ results, and other duties as may be assigned by management. Knowledge of Wolf EMR will be an advantage. Good customer service and telephone manners are essential.

Qualifications/Competencies:
■ Medical Office Assistant Certificate
■ Previous MOA experience
■ Excellent communication skills
■ Great attention to detail

What we offer:
■ Wage rate $22.50/hr – 35-40 hours a week
■ Extended healthcare
