Cook Full Time

Job type: Full-time, permanent

Wage: $18-$22/hour, depending on experience and qualification

Work hours: 30 hours/ week

Introduction

Our restaurant specializes in serving Asian cuisines. We are looking for a cook that helps us provide high quality dishes in a timely manner to our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes

Contribute to menu change based on order data

Contribute to refining existing recipes and developing new dishes

Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, peeling etc.)

Set up workstation

Manage the usage and inventory of supplies

Maintain and ensure kitchen sanitization and food safety

Other duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications

Requires a college diploma or an apprenticeship training.

Minimum of 1 year experience is required.

Proficient with general and Asian cooking techniques

Familiar with recipes of Asian dishes

Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical capabilities like handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods are demanded.
