Job Description
Cooper’s Cove Oyster Farm Ltd. is seeking a reliable and motivated Shellfish Processing Labourer to join our team. This position is suitable for individuals seeking entry-level employment and those looking to gain hands-on experience in the seafood processing industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
Unload fish and shellfish from vessels and transport to work area
Sort, weigh, and pack shellfish products
Prepare products for processing, freezing, and shipment
Clean machines and maintain work areas
Follow workplace safety procedures
Requirements
No degree, certificate, or diploma required
No experience required – training will be provided
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Reliable and able to work in a team environment
Schedule
Flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required
