Drywall and Acoustic Board Installer Helper Full Time

• Load and unload construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Assist in framing, houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
• Position and secure sheets to metal or joists
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
• Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Perform routine maintenance work
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Requirements:

• No degree, certificate or diploma is required
• Paid on-the-job training will be provided, previous relevant experience preferred but not required
• Physically demanding, should handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
