Bakery Department Manager Full Time

• Plan and organize daily operations
• Manage staff and assign duties
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Preparing and mixing buttercream and other frostings to exact specifications.
• Designing, building, and decorating custom cakes for retail, wholesale, and special events.
• Managing daily cake decorating tasks and ensuring timely fulfillment of custom orders.
• Overseeing the quality and artistic standard of all decorated products.
• Training and mentoring junior decorators as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment at all times
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Train staffin job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Establish work schedules
• Prepare and submit reports
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
