Coopertech Ltd. dba MX Glass & Mirror Manufacturing Ltd. is looking for a Full-time/Permanent Glass Cutter in Burnaby, BC.
Position : Glass Cutter
Available Position : 1
Wage : $21.08 – $23.00 per hour
Working hours : 30-40 hours per week
Terms of Employment : Full-time, Permanent
Starting Date of Employment : As soon as possible
Benefit : Extended health benefits after a 3-month probation period

Vacation : 10 days paid vacation OR 4% of gross salary
Job duties
-Lay out, jig, measure and mark out glass for cutting and shaping.
-Cut marked up glass using hand tools
-Set up and operate cutting machinery.
-Inspect for defective cuts, sand rough edges to make smooth.
-Double check that glass is cut to specifications.
-Perform quality control on cut glass.
-Maintain hand tools and machinery for safe operations.
Requirements
-Completion of secondary school is usually required.
-2 years of experience as a glass cutter is required.
