A private household in Mississauga is seeking a reliable and caring Home Child Care Provider to provide full-time care for children in the employer’s home.
Position Details
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Wage: $21.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment: Full-time, 12-month contract
Expected start date: October 22, 2026
Vacancies: 1
Work setting: Employer’s home
Live-out position
Responsibilities
Supervise and care for children
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Organize activities such as games and outings for children
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Take children to and from school and appointments as required
Tend to the emotional well-being of children
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
Cook meals as required
Qualifications
No degree, certificate or diploma required
Previous child care experience is an asset
Ability to communicate in English
Reliable, responsible and organized
Able to work independently in a private household environment
